The DHA News of the Day is intended to provide some expanded news coverage of those events and developments that may not capture as much ink in the local press as they deserve. No disrespect to the fourth estate ... but sometimes the pressure of deadline and competition for space brings about some tough choices.
We also want to use this space to engage neighborhood associations and all interested parties in a community-driven conversation and exchange of brilliant ideas about developing Downtown Durham and strengthening neighborhoods.
